We proudly employ local tradespeople in our shop, which features state of the art woodworking machinery and cutting-edge robotics. Yes, we can build your order for pick up or delivery only. However, we are proud to offer our expert installers and a full service department.

No, all of our cabinet boxes are built to order in our 55,000 square foot manufacturing facility located right here on the Saanich peninsula.

It is never too soon to start planning! Engage with a designer sooner rather than later. If you have drawings but haven’t begun to build, we can start with those. Cabinetry is such a large part of your living space that our clients often come in before breaking ground.

If you have them, yes! Drawings provide a lot of the information we need and it is beneficial starting with accurate measurements. If you don’t have any plans, take some rough measurements of the rooms you want to remodel, noting door and window locations, and we can start with that. HCK provides an on-site measure to confirm every inch before proceeding to order your cabinets.

This depends on your material choices, the scope of work to be done, and how busy our shop is. Some materials are faster than others, so if you are in a time crunch, your designer can guide your choices based on your goals. We strive to work with our client’s timelines!

50% deposit upon order
40% payable before delivery
10% after substantial completion

We recommend it – however, as we design the cabinets based on the appliance specifications, it is not always required. It’s important to note that HCK does not install appliances, only cabinets – so you will need to hire a licensed appliance installer to complete that aspect of your project.

Yes, we work directly with local countertop suppliers to simplify the process. Whether you are wanting quartz or laminate tops, our designers are here to assist you. However, we do not take countertop-only orders.
