Harbour City Kitchens’ cabinetry is custom-built and made-to-order specifically for your home. Once your design has been created your cabinets are then manufactured according to a comprehensive process. All of our cabinetry is made in our shop using materials purchased locally. Building locally enables us to provide fast, flexible turn-around times. From solid wood to furniture grade veneer, our cabinetry is beautifully hand crafted and finished to your specifications.
Our cabinetry is built to last using a durable wood doweling system instead of the common industry practice of a screw and staple method. To ensure the cabinets are square and strong, they are set in pressurized case clamps. Our cabinet box design includes adjustable shelving, finished with matching edge tape that is easy to clean and maintain. Harbour City Kitchens manufactures our own wood door and drawer fronts, as well as wood dovetail drawers to ensure quality craftsmanship. All of our door hinges and drawer slides come with a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty. In addition to our standard door hinges and drawer slides, we offer a premium soft-close line of door and drawer systems by BLUM, the leader in cabinetry hardware.
Many finishing shops use a hand spray technique for their paints and stains which can result in inconsistencies with colour and finish distribution; Harbour City Kitchens has a state-of-the-art automated spray line that ensures an enhanced bonding process and a smooth, even finish. Our wide range of wood stains and paint finishes are complemented by our ability to custom colour match to your specifications.
