ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
JOB OVERVIEW
As an assembly technician you will be responsible for building and assembling various types of cabinets. You will be responsible for the safe operation of various types of woodworking equipment and all related technology. Moreover, they must continuously perform quality checks and ensure that cabinets are positioned properly for efficient stacking and shipping.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assemble various types of cabinets
- Ensure for the efficient and safe operation of the assembly line
- Build speciality cabinets upon request
- Continuously perform quality checks
QUALIFICATION MUST HAVE
- Ability to lift 23kg
- Positive attitude
- Good organizational skills
QUALIFICATION NICE TO HAVE
- Prior knowledge of cabinetry
- Prior experience working on an assembly line
- Competent with technology
COMPENSATION
- $18-$25/hr depending on experience
- Full medical with 80% coverage for dental (for full time employees)
- RRSP/DPSP matching program through Manulife (for full time employees)

Depending on your interests, skills and qualifications, you have the opportunity to work as a:
- Production Manufacturer
- Quality Assurance Processor
- Finishing Shop Operative
- Custom Shop Manufacturer
- Sanding Processor
QUALIFICATION MUST HAVE
- Ability to lift 23kg
- Good organizational skills
- Positive and respectful attitude
QUALIFICATION NICE TO HAVE
- Knowledge of cabinetry
- Experience working on an assembly line
- Competent with technology
- CNC
- Edgebander
- Sanding
- Cabinet assembly
- Table saw
