Our process from consultation to installation
Book an appointment to meet with one of our designers and discuss your project. First meetings typically take place in the showroom – you can explore a wide range of door styles, materials, and colour options in our fully functional, installed displays.
It’s helpful to bring rough measurements of your space, any appliances you have already chosen, and inspirational images to this meeting.
With the scope of work discussed, your designer will collaborate with our drafting department to create preliminary design drawings, and a corresponding quote. We’ll make revisions and adjustments, striving to integrate everything you are envisioning for the space while staying within your budget.
Once you’re ready to proceed, we’ll schedule a site measure to ensure the accuracy of all measurements. These measurements go back to the drafting department, which will revise the drawings to show an accurate plan for the space.
Now it’s time to confirm every detail! Working together to bring your dream to life, we will help you finalize all your material selections and perfect your colour palette. Depending on your project requirements, this may involve appliance specifications, door and drawer styles, pull hardware, and countertop selections.
At this phase, we will provide you with the final drawings, installation timeline and contract for sign-off.
Once the contract is signed and a deposit put down, your order enters production in our manufacturing facility. At this point, our scheduling department will contact you to confirm dates for delivery or pickup of your cabinetry. You can expect to hear from us 6 weeks, 4 weeks & 2 weeks prior to delivery to ensure your timeline is still on target.
If you are utilizing our installation services, our service department will also be in touch. Your cabinets will arrive 1 to 3 days before the scheduled installation, ensuring that all the cabinetry, confirmed parts, and accessories are on-site and prepared for our installer to start their work. Installation is a flurry of activity – by keeping clear of the area (especially kids and pets) you will allow the tradespeople to focus on what they do best.
On the day of delivery, you will receive a call from our service department to arrange to install. We deliver a day or 2 prior to installation. This ensures all your cabinetry, confirmed parts and accessories on-site & ready for our installer to get to work.
Countertops are templated shortly after your cabinetry is complete. If you have included stone or laminate countertops in your project scope, our service department will help you with the process of scheduling the template and subsequent installation of the tops.
Once the installations are complete, you’re all set to enjoy your new space! Our service department is always available to assist with any fine-tuning, address any remaining questions, or take care of any final touches.
